The ICP DAS ET-2217H is an 8-channel differential high-speed analog input module. All analog input channels can be individually configured with input ranges including ±2.5 V, 0 ~ 5 V, ±5 V, 0 ~ 10 V, ±10 V, 0 ~ 20 mA, 4 ~ 20 mA, and ±20 mA. The module can be set as voltage or current inputs via the DIP switch and provides up to 50 VDC overvoltage protection, as well as 50 mA overcurrent protection at 50 VDC/VAC.
The sampling rate of ET-2217H is 8 KHz for all channels, and it utilizes TCP streaming continuous transmission mode to record voltage and current values. The module also provides EMS (EFT/ESD/Surge) protection and 3000 VDC I/O isolation to enhance noise protection capabilities in industrial environments.
The ICP DAS ET-2217H module supports the MQTT protocol and can act as both a message publisher and subscriber. When connected to the MQTT Broker server, the module can publish the I/O status in real time using a topic and receive messages from subscribed topics. If the ET-2217H module becomes disconnected from the broker during communication, it has a reconnection mechanism that can automatically restore the connection. Additionally, a Keep-Alive Interval mechanism is in place to ensure a persistent connection with the Broker.
This Ethernet IO module support the SNMP V2c specification, enabling it to transmit both module and I/O information to SNMP network management equipment or software (SNMP Network Management Software), providing real-time monitoring of the ICP DAS PET-2217H status for administrators. If the Trap function is enabled, the module can send a message to the manager when there is a change in I/O status or if the module reboots, keeping track of the channel status at all times.
