JHC TECH BRAV Series Multi-access Edge (MEC) Computers

Multi-access edge computing (MEC), also referred to mobile edge computing, is an ETSI-defined network architecture concept that enables cloud computing capabilities and an IT service environment at the edge of the cellular network and, more in general at the edge of any network.

The idea about MEC system is that by running applications and performing related processing tasks closer to the cellular customer, network congestion is reduced, and applications perform better. MEC technology is designed to be implemented at the cellular base stations or other edge nodes and enables flexible and rapid deployment of new applications and services for customers.

Embedding elements of information technology and telecommunications networking, MEC allows cellular users to open their radio access network (RAN) to authorised third parties including application developers and engineers.

The JHCTECH BRAV Series is a workstation-grade Edge computing system, powered by the latest Intel® CPU, Q670 chipset, dual-channel DDR5 memory, and dual PCIe expansions.

This series offers flexible optional computing power, multi IO interfaces, high PFC power supply, high efficiency cooling solution and industrial grade reliability design, which makes them ideal for V2X MEC, highway event detection, unmanned experiment vehicle and high-precision machine vision and other fields applications.

Our wide range of industrial embedded computers play an important role in the ever-evolving Internet of Things, enabling the connections between machines, people, places, things, and the cloud.
