Description

The Rextron USBX-M215 is a USB 2.0 Extender, extends 4 x USB 2.0 signals up to 100M over a single CAT.x cable. The USB 2.0 Extender is compatible with Windows, MAC and Linux OS. There is no need to install software or driver, just plug and play. Extender unit provides a durable, high quality connection, complies with USB 2.0 specifications, and is downward compatible with USB 1.1 and USB 1.0 devices, which ensures reliable data communication.

The USBX-M215 consists of a transmitter and a receiver unit and both units equip one mini USB-B port with 5V DC power supply. The Receiver USBX-215R provides DC 5V, 500mA to each USB-A port and the power supply is not required on the Tx side when the transmitter unit can draw sufficient power from the Host Device (PC/ Laptop).
Rextron offers a series of USB 2.0 extender family products, and the box type and wall plate type family products are interoperable which means that it allows a box type transmitter to be linked to a wall plate type receiver via CATx cable, and vice versa.
