Providing a variety of digital I/O functions, the ICP DAS ET-2268 module is an Ethernet I/O monitoring and control module. The module can be remotely controlled through a 10/100M Ethernet network by using Modbus TCP/UDP protocol. Modbus has become a de facto standard communications protocol industrial application, and is now the most commonly available means of connecting industrial electronic devices. This makes the ET-2268 module being perfectly integrated with the HMI, SCADA, PLC or other software systems.

The ICP DAS ET-2268 provides 4 Form A signal Relay output and 4 Form C signal Relay Output channels. With 2 Ethernet ports, the ET-2268 allows daisy chain connection which enables flexibility in locating devices; easy installation and lower infrastructure costs. This module includes 8 LED indicators that can be used to monitor the Relay Output status, and options are provided that allow power-on and safe Digital Output values to be configured. It features 8 kV ESD, 4 kV EFT and 3 kV surge protection to enhance noise protection capabilities in industrial environments. The ICP DAS ET-2268 is the ideal solution for small signal switching.

The module can be used to create DI to DO pair-connect through the Ethernet. After configuration, the ET-2268 module can poll the status of remote DI channels via the Modbus TCP protocol and write data to local DO channels.

It is equipped with removable terminal block connector for easy and robust wiring in industrial applications, and features a powerful 32-bit ARM MCU to handle efficient network trafficking.
