Description

DeviceNet is one kind of the network protocols based on the CAN bus and mainly used for the embedded network of the machine control, such as industrial machine control, aircraft engines monitoring, factory automation, medical equipment’s control, remote data acquisition, environmental monitoring, and packaging machines control, etc.

PWM (Pulse width modulation) is a powerful technique for controlling analog circuits. It uses digital outputs to generate a waveform with variant duty cycle and frequency to control analog circuits. The ICP DAS CAN-2088D is a PWM slave module of DeviceNet protocol. It has 8 PWM output channels and 8 high speed counter channels and can be used to develop powerful and cost effective analog control system.

Applications

  • Controlling the position/speed of motors
  • Dimming the brightness of lamps
  • Controlling the speed of fans
  • High speed counter

The ICP DAS CAN-2000D series works seamlessly with the following DeviceNet masters or gateways:-

  • Allen-Bradley(AB) 193-DNENCAT, 193-DNENCATR
  • OMRON CJ1W-DRM21
  • OMRON CS1W-DRM21-V1
  • OMRON C200HW-DRM21-V1
  • OMRON 3G8F7-DRM21-E
