Description

Hardware design VDDC-8K220, EDID Fix, plays an EDID emulating role and serves as a bridge of communication between the DisplayPort AV source (PC/ DVD Player) and the HDMI AV sink device (Monitor/ Projector). VDDC provides 30 sets of memory banks (1 Preset + 29 Custom) for EDID setting, including EDID Reading/ EDID Copy/ EDID Emulating procedures.
Based on the HDMI 2.1 specification, VDDC-8K220 displays the highest resolution of 7680×4320@60Hz (4:4:4 ), 48Gbps ( FRL6 ), and supports the latest HDMI 2.1 Technologies such as DSC / Dynamic HDR / ALLM / QFT / QMS, …. VDDC Video Booster function amplifies the video signal and that enables users to extend the distance between the monitor and the source device. The unique EDID Export function allows the EDIDs stored in the memory banks to be easily transferred to the computer through a mini USB cable for advanced analysis, while the EDID Import function allows the modified EDIDs (CFG File) to be shifted from PC to the VDDC memory bank.
Painless learning, Rextron EDID Fix Auto EDID function eliminates the complicated process and provides Auto EDID Reading and Auto EDID Copy allowing beginners to learn painlessly. For advanced users, Rextron EDID emulation function mimics a screen connection (virtual screen) without the need for an external monitor installation.
