Description

The Series C offers a range of low-cost but highly versatile meters for most usual industrial applications. Its main features are a contained price together with a wide range of input signals accepted, and optional customization for consumption.

The standard 14 mm digit height provides an excellent view for a distance of up to 5 meters, with a sharp and clean reading. The visual lines of the Series C stand for a clean and wide front space, where the main role is focused on the value displayed.

Series C achieves a reduced price mainly obtained from a simplification on its technical specifications, although still offering around 0.2% FS accuracy and 3 acquisitions / second. Series C benefits from scale economy, making use of high quality components, power supplies, housings and quality-test procedures from higher range Series M.

The best feature is its universal input, that can accept a wide range of signals; mA and Vdc, thermocouples K, J, E, N, L, R, S, B, T, C, resistive temperature probes Pt100, Pt500, Pt1000, Ni100, Ni200 and NTC, AC and DC voltages up to 600 V and AC and DC currents up to 5 A.

Up to 2 output and control options : 1 or 2 relay outputs, analog 4/20mA output or serial RS-485 ASCII output. All circuits are isolated. Its internal architecture features a modular design providing field upgradable option cards, to expand functionality as needed.

In short, the Series C is the recommended series for machine manufacturers, OEM integrators and instrumentation distributors,due its reduced price and its wide range of signals accepted.
