Description

The Rextron EGBMU-M3010 is a HDMI KVM Extender over CATx, 4K@90M, Bi-Directional HDMI Transmission, Switch Splitter, Dual Console, Audio Embedding/ De-Embedding Function, USB 2.0 and Serial Extension.

The EGBMU-M3010 offers uncompressed 18G HDMI 2.0 extension capability to transmit uncompressed 4K 60Hz (4:4:4) video through single CATx cable up to 90 meters. Bi-Directional HDMI Transmission combines the Switch Splitter functions enable the HDMI output port on the Transmitter Unit (Local Out) to present local video coming from the Tx or remote video coming from the Rx and the switching can be simply achieved by button pressing. The local/remote video switching function offers a better visibility and allows local users to monitor the HDMI signals coming from both sides or broadcast HDMI signal on both local (Sender) and remote (Receiver) unit concurrently.

HDMI KVM Extender over CATx

The EGBMU-M3010, HDMI KVM Extender over CATx, supports HDCP 2.2, (High-Bandwidth Digital Content Protection) compatible with 4K UHD contents. Rextron HDCP 2.2 HDMI KVM extenders and Video extenders are backward-compatible with the previous HDCP version. That means you can connect older sources to a new 4K TV under HD streaming with no HDCP 2.x to 1.x converter in between. EGBMU-M3010 KVM extender supports HDCP key to ensure uninterrupted video playback at all times.
Rextron HDBaseT KVM Extender with audio embedder/ extractor function can independently transmit the audio signal from the Transmitter unit to the Receiver unit, embed audio from a 3.5-mm source to an HDMI signal or extract HDMI audio to a 3.5mm stereo audio, which provides the second audio transmission channel that would be beneficial for the content creator in video postproduction or audio broadcasting with the installation of home cinema amplifier.

EGBMU-M3010, HDMI KVM Extender over CATx, enables users to transmit USB 2.0 signals with downward compatibility eliminating 5 meters distance limitation of USB, and the function features USB peripherals sharing capability without any software or driver installation. Dedicated USB-A ports designed on the Tx and Rx of the extender unit are suitable for both local and remote site USB peripherals access.
