Multi-functional Modbus to CANopen Master Gateway

The ICP DAS GW-7433D provides a communication transformation between CANopen protocol and Modbus/TCP and RTU protocols. It solves a mission-critical problem by connecting existing CANopen network with Modbus master devices.

This compact gateway enables CANopen networks to be coupled together with the Internet/Ethernet for remote monitoring and control applications. For CANopen network, the GW-7433D can be easily configured as a CANopen master device which supports PDO and SDO functions to communicate with slave devices.

For Modbus TCP & RTU network, the GW-7433D plays a Modbus TCP server or Modbus RTU slave role. It can receive the commands from Modbus TCP client or Modbus RTU master and process the commands to reply or send the related CANopen data.

The GW-7433D combines three functions such as a CANopen master, a Modbus TCP server, and a Modbus RTU slave. Software utility is provided for users to configure the parameters of CANopen slaves to GW-7433D gateway.

The ICP DAS GW-7433D is proven and used in a variety of industrial applications including control systems, building automation, factory automation, distributed data acquisition and renewable energy.
