4K Switch Splitter with unique EDID Configuration Technology

The Rextron VKSM-8K212 is a 4K Switch Splitter that allows users to switch between two HDMI sources and delivers the selected video stream to two HDMI output devices.

With FRL 8K HDMI resolutions of 40G bandwidth transmission and Dynamic HDR technology, this high-end switch splitter support resolutions of 4K@120Hz, 5K@120Hz, and 8K@60Hz.

Equipped with HDMI eARC function that allows both visual and audio signals to be transferred between AV sink device and AV receiver via HDMI cable reduces cable management. The Rextron unique eARC slide switch design provides a more flexible audio return setup for analog audio, digital audio, and HDMI audio transmission.

The VKSM-8K212 provides HDMI and 3.5mm audio inputs that bring in multiple audio/video feeds that support audio embedding and audio de-embedding functions. The audio embedding function embeds audio from a 3.5-mm analog stereo audio to an HDMI signal, while the audio de-embedding extracts the HDMI audio to a SPDIF audio output.

The Rextron HDMI 8K 4K Switch Splitter unique EDID configuration technology provides three ways of EDID communication. EDID Parser: Use either the default or system recommended EDID data for the optimal video display.
EDID Copy: Copy EDID from the EDID compliant monitor to ensure the accurate output display. Auto EDID: EDID auto learning temporarily record the EDID data from the EDID compliant monitor.
