SP-005EP Ethernet / Power Surge Protector

Description

The Ourten SP-005EP is Ethernet & Power Surge Protector. It adopts a three-stage protection system to suppress overvoltage and surge currents in network cables. It features an independent grounding terminal to ensure stable communication while handling up to 10kA surge current, effectively protecting network equipment.

No external power supply is required, it can be installed in series by connecting the protected device to the OUT port, the network line to the IN port, and the ground wire to a grounding busbar or point. When a surge enters, excess voltage is absorbed and discharged through primary discharge, voltage limiting, and voltage clamping, ensuring only a safe voltage reaches network devices.

The Ourten SP-005EP is widely used in security surveillance, telecommunications, data centres, transportation networks, and industrial automation. It is compatible with 10/100 Base-T ports IP devices including IP cameras, IP intercom systems, IP wireless access points, and other IP-powered equipment.
