Description

The Rextron FXMS-M043 4K HDMI Fiber KVM Extender consists of a Transmitter (Host) and a Receiver (Device) unit that allows you to extend 4K HDMI Video/ Audio/ USB 2.0/ IR/ RS-232 signals over SC M-M Fiber Optic Cabling. It transmits 4K HDMI video up to 1000 meters (3280 ft) through a single SC Duplex Multi-Mode fiber cable in a point to point configuration.

The FXMS-M043 comprise of a compact Transmitter and Receiver pair (models FXMS-043P & FXMS-043S respectively), the FXMS-M043 4K HDMI Fiber KVM Extender can be installed in minutes and requires no special programming. Using fiber optical cable provides a lot of advantages over traditional copper-based extension methods, including thinner and lighter cables, immunity to RF and magnetic interference, and much longer extension distances up to 1KM. That means the benefits of the Fiber KVM Extender like EMI-free, long-distance transmission, and reliability far outweigh its higher cost. It is great for uses in electronically “noisy” environments such as factory shop floors or medical applications.
This 4K HDMI Fiber KVM Extender with speaker and MIC audio functions provides comprehensive management of EDID (Extended Display Identification Data) to ensure that the computer is displayed at the optimal resolution and format without any compatibility issue. With the serial extension function it enables users to control RS-232 devices remotely, mostly for projectors, central control system, POS system, AV switches, printers, etc. A simple OSD menu feature is to show up and setup its baud rate speed information with the range from 1200 to 115200bps.
